Most of them are very young, and teenage/young adult girls value social inclusion in a way most people don't understand. Plus, remember that it's the most vulnerable and isolated who are drawn to the movement in the first place (I doubt the majority of them are even lesbians, just straight women who don't fit in and decide they're gaydens) and anyone who gives fewer fucks tends to self-select out of the group early on.

Deleting all your accounts works to some extent, but cancelation of suspected terfs extends into real life, and you'll lose all your real life friends (because your friends know that if they don't turn on you, they're next on the list). Add to this the fact that these people have been told for years that only fellow queers understand them, and that anyone who questions troon orthodoxy is a fascist who wants to kill them.
