The most telling thing that the weight loss isn't genuine (or unaided) is that she randomly decided to do recorded daily weigh-ins, has stuck to it for four days, and didn't discuss or plan it at all on livestream (to my knowledge, anyway). To me that means she's trying to hide something, and that she is confident she will lose weight every day. If it was an organic idea and something she was wistfully daydreaming about - daily weigh-ins until Turkey - she would have talked about it with her VIBs for a good hour or so and soaked up the dopamine of announcing it way before ever thinking about actually doing it. AFAIK she just started uploading the weigh-in clips. Very out of character.

She doesn't appear to be high on stream, but she'd mentioned staying up all night three nights this past week. One of those all-nighters she spent doing "tons of research" and booked the Turkey trip. I also think it's interesting how it's just come out that Shannon ended up struggling with coke addiction. Hearing that alone could trigger her into doing that BPD copycat thing she does. Add to that being jealous of the sympathy Shannon's received over her depression/addiction/abusive relationship. Add to that being jealous that Shannon now has public validation and confirmation of her mental anguish/addiction/need for help (all things Chantal wishes for). Add to that her desire to travel out of spite, her need to be able to walk/withstand the flight, etc. All of those add up to Chantal thinking this is a perfect time for coke to make a comeback. She'd probably also start doing it slowly - say off-stream, at night, while doing research and booking a trip. She also said yesterday, "I can't believe I just came online and told you all I was doing coke." - Not that she couldn't believe she did coke, she couldn't believe she ADMITTED to doing coke. I don't know. Seems like a likely thought process for Chins.

One of the funniest things to me is her just recently trying to deny (at least twice now) any drug use, other than thc, and defend herself by saying [possibly paraphrasing a tiny bit here:] "Come on, if i was doing drugs, you would all KNOW it, you would be able to tell!" – while that's all everyone's been saying to and about her and in her comments, chat, forums etc. for a whole year, and especially recently.

Some might even consider it a confession of sort...

Chantel’s weight loss claim isn’t worth writing walks of text about, she lies. She lies like other people breathe and she’s obsessed with food.

Home scales are also less reliable, she may be over the weight limit, and she most likely has to lean forward to see the display (cuz gunt). Any of these can cause inaccurate numbers. If she’s really losing weight, she’ll look smaller in time. Until then just assume it’s a lie.

It's clear though that wasn't the case so I'm wondering how that actually went down.

Well, we actually did see a lot of it go down. It was just obscured by Gunt's deflections, delusions, half-truths, and wishful thinking.

She told us they hadn't had sex for two years before the breakup. And she told us she cheated. Bibi was supremely uncomfortable on camera, especially when standing near her/being coerced into giving her a peck on the cheek. I think the relationship actually ended years ago. It's just that there was always a really good reason Chantal couldn't POSSIBLY move out sooner than she did.

According to Chantal herself, and then witnessed by us in real time, many Very Serious Things happened in succession, each of which would have made throwing her out totally heartless on Bibi's part.

First, it was, "Bibi, I can't move out! I just lost my job!" Then, "I have my severance pay, but it will only last so long. Just let me get my YouTube established." This is what she tells us.

After that, we saw it go, "My health is bad! I might need surgery!', "I had to go to psych emerge!", "I'm finally getting the help I need and Bibi is my rock!" "I do need surgery!" "I just had surgery!" "My surgical incision opened!" "I need you to drive me to the ER for ANOTHER unrelated thing!"

I'm betting she tried, "I can't move out! WHAT ABOUT COVID!" at some point. Maybe multiple points. If he'd managed to stick it out a few months longer, the next excuse would have been, "I can't move out! I have a fatty liver and diabetes and I just need to get those under control first!".

And finally, Bibi told her to get out. Time's up, no more excuses, it's been two fucking years and this is the only chance I might have to get you out before something else comes up. She dragged her feet, but she was given a timeline and someone held her to it (mostly).

Also, she broke that scale. On stream. It fell over (because she stores it upright and leaning against the wall, which can fuck scales up to begin with) and there was an almighty cracking sound when it hit the floor. It could be that the tempered glass wasn't quite tempered enough, or it could be one of the stabilizing feet broke (meaning it's no longer stable or balanced) or it could be the digital weighing mechanism itself -- but something fucking BROKE and I would not trust that scale ever again. This whole daily weigh in charade is a joke. She expects to to believe she is losing weight (15 pounds in a week) without any sort of diet or calorie restriction. If she were truly dieting we wouldn't hear the end of it. She would want constant praise. The fact that she isn't just turning on the Livestream and walking to the scale is a huge sign that this is nonsense. Who does she think she's fooling. If you go back and watch the family/pizza mukbang, there's a point where Kim talks about piglet taking care of her younger sister. She chimes in to let mom know she was probably hungover that day (or something along those lines), like a little edge lord.
