Btw what is this? Man with toddler face. Grey hair white beard, liverspots, balding, yet he has little tee-hee face clearly attempting to signal Finding Nemo character or something. "Uh oh I am quirky and adventurous like child!" but he's like what 45? 52? Arching his eyebrows like he's on the cover of a Shrek 4 dvd. I hate this and want to understand the psychology behind it. So many older troons have pre-transition photos like this and it seems like such an obvious indicator that something is severely wrong.

Why should we think it's virtue signaling if it's PC/pro-cancel-culture, but genuine if the message reads that it's supportive of "peaceful discourse" and not threatening people?

I don't believe a word of what they say. After all, it sounds to me like it's just trying to garner the praise and worship/money of people who are opposed to that whole PC culture shit that Disney, some anime, etc. so obviously push nowadays?

I'm just saying I think this is for PR (public relations e.g. making them look good in the public eye) and that we should be skeptical of what they're saying.

Call me a nutcase, perhaps you're right. But you might wanna look into it before we sing the praises of some massive corporation.

I don't wanna go on a spiel about how brave and interesting they are for this, but this could signal something better, such as a new company to buy product from?

They've known about the Rowling threats for years and chose to stay silent for the PR. Wonder what prompted them to reverse that decision.

It might, you can never discard that. But when it comes to corporations their main concerns is to reap as many shekels as they can from as many people they can. Its it a PR move to get sympathy from people that are anti-troon? Most likely. Or maybe someone in the directive had an aneurysm and they are feeling the pendulum is starting to swing the other way.

But my bet is on the "We want money and this seems like the easy con to pull".

PL a bit but I'm just really skeptical of people, especially with corporations and really any media (games, movies, etc.) in general because I lost all faith in them not being greedy psychos. imho I think most shit regarding identity politics and controversial/polarizing subjects is a cash grab.
