If it's two men, it's a "bear" with his "cub" or his "otter" or "twink," and it's not only tolerated, but celebrated and encouraged in the queer community.
If it's a man and a younger woman, he's somewhat frowned upon in some circles, celebrated in others, but in any case it's tolerated by society and even normalized in the media.
If it's a woman and a younger man, then she's a "cougar," which is mildly derogatory in certain contexts, but still the man is viewed as having agency in the decision to be with her.
If it's two women, I don't think anyone really says anything. Are there specific words for that relationship type? Probably there are. Anyway, it's not commonly vilified by society.
...But, if the older partner is transgender, then, and only then, will people immediately jump to accusations of impropriety, grooming, pedophilia, etc. Which is probably very harmful and offensive to survivors of actual child molestation, because it trivializes their traumatic experiences.
Regardless, consenting adults is consenting adults.
