F.A.Qs about Jail, State Hospital, and Court

Very interesting. I've decided that I'm going to start redoing the FAQ if he isn't transferred within a few days, or if he is transferred, give it a day or two to see if we hear from him. That way we can assume that the situation will be stabilized for a while, and then it's just filling in the specific answers as we get them.

He's going to hate being around those slow-in-the-minds all the time. Worse than jail.
He's always viewed himself as hugely superior to them because "high-functioning" meant "really smart" to him, not "meh he isn't as retarded as some other retards." It's going to drive him nuts to be treated exactly the same as the rest of the muppets. They also probably won't bother holding him down and recording his screams, just violate him and go to sentencing.

not to a-log too hard, but that sounds like it would be a worse situation for him than jail, so i'd be happy if that is his punishment.

If Chris is sentenced to a tard home for the rest of his life, what level of freedom will he have and what are his options for getting out into the public like he normally did?

They can't "sentence" him to that. His crime isn't one that allows that.

The only way they can keep him in one forever is to determine that he's incapacitated, which is a civil process, not a criminal one.

Those places never look as good as they do in the pictures

for that very reason.

Region 10 is a state agency. If it's run how others are they probably own a number of houses around Charlottesville that are used to house various categories of people with mental impairments. In the update thread for the last bit of activity in the court record, I mentioned a couple of examples that I know of in real life where a house in a city near me houses I think it was four or five retarded men together. They have a nurse that comes and checks up on them, but it's not otherwise in house.

That's probably long-term what's going to happen to him. I have a feeling in the short term he is going to be under much closer scrutiny since he will technically be in a probationary period until next year, if we are accurately reading the court record.

I don't see a way that Chris can escape being a ward of the state from here on out.

Small update to the blurb at the top. Still not updating FAQ until we get a little more info about if he is being transferred or released, or something else.
I've seen some comments indicating the deferred disposition has been approved but I can't find the source. Does anyone know if this is true?

It's been continued exactly one year.

So whatever is happening is taking one full year. I'm not sure whether the year is the end of it or just an ongoing periodic review.

JUDGE: Christine? Have you raped any old ladies this year?

Chris: "Only at Christmas, judge! I SWEAR!"

JUDGE: "Christine, you're so incorrigible.
You'll shoot your taint out with that attitude! Here's the keys to 14 BC and your mom's China!"

Time will tell, but I can’t help but feel like he continues to fail upwards. A group home may even be a better living situation than Branchland Court because all the “stresses” are taken away. He raped Barb, and now after only a year or so in jail, he gets to go to the Old Tard’s Home while others have to care for Barb and the animals and deal with all the financial issues.

Look, I know I got off to a rocky start but I am finding my way here on this rocky terrain... LOLCOW and all of this troll stuff is new to me and I only just discovered Chris, let alone his crimes... It has all taken an abrupt turn to the south and it can be a bit sticky holding on to firm ground. I mean him/her no harm but I am infinitely fascinated. It's so much like watching a train wreck... If you watch the Geno docos it is a train-wreck that happens over the course of decades....

Bro, talk less, read more.

So I always held this belief that if in the circumstance that Chris is sent to a mental institution we will have no way of knowing what he's doing (See earlier this year.), seeing as how those places are locked down crazy if someone's committed a criminal offense. However, if he is sent to a halfway house after his jail sentence he will have some level of freedom but it will be more restricted than we think, the best course of action is Chris will try to employ a new White Knight to upload tweets on his behalf if his internet access is restricted.

"I wish I had an answer for you, but you'll have to decide for yourself who you can trust."

He most definitely will be on “probation” for a year in a sort of halfway house for tards. Most likely with a ban to internet access. There’s no other reason they would set the case to review in another year if this wasn’t the case. A resolution was found for the next year, but unfortunately we will not know for fact due to the seal.

Why do you think this?
Doesn’t seem like there’s another option right now. The goal is going to be to try to bring him back to reality. Not feed his delusions. I truly believe they are trying to rehabilitate him, which we all know will never happen. Chris was failed as soon as Bob started paying kids to be friends with him.

Group home.

No it isn’t. I wonder why people think it is.

Not feed his delusions.
What delusions? His goddess or Jesus makebelieve game? Why bother?

I truly believe they are trying to rehabilitate him,
They’re not. They’re trying to contain him so he isn’t harming other people and making too much of a nuisance of himself.

Chris was failed as soon as Bob started paying kids to be friends with him.
If he did, it’s not that big of a deal. He might have paid some people to sit with him at lunch and walk him to the bus or whatever.

Chris was failed when people didn’t tell him No, when he didn’t face consequences for chimping out, when he wasn’t taught that he’s ordinary and unspecial. He should have been in autist school.
