Regarding Axia, seems like he left off with not just a rant, but also a rap track, which I've gotta assume is also a vent.
Wow, I can't believe he not only hates his fans, but is even stepping into Karen's territory of venting via rap. Seriously though, glad he's standing up for himself and telling the retards to go touch grass.
Don't know if this is a translation for the regular rant or the rap, but it's definitely one of those.

Rie actually worked really well last night as a Maro babysitter. Airi was doing a sleepy Maro reading while super tired. Her voice was too cute. But Rie was doing a good job of calling out "Skip it" for the ones that were too risque.

While previous conversations about Shiina and Airi meeting in the past had alluded to them being friends for 10 years, according to the Airi Space above it's more likely they were people who met and interacted a bit 10 years ago, but then they hadn't seen each other until just now. They only figured out who each other was upon going into Discord and talking and remembering their previous meeting 10 years before. That seems to be roughly the time period where Shiina was trying to get into KPOP group casting, so it's really seeming to lean toward that's when they met. Question that leads to this story (and what made her want to be a vTuber) starts around 31:45 in the Space.

Shiina could also work really well as her babysitter, as her deep internet knowledge seems pretty good overall as well.

Somebody uploaded footage of the Crunchyroll expo SNOT skit (the one that Gura mentioned that they had to keep doing retakes of, because it kept getting way too inappropriate for public viewing). They're doing Rorshach tests. I can definitely see where this could have gone south pretty quickly - too bad we'll never see the uncut version. It's pretty cute anyways.

As a general JP watcher, I'd agree and say his design, voice, and friendship with Lauren is what really brought the weird fans out. As for his personality, it's stated on his unofficial wiki that he preferred the term "cool" over "cute" (his chat was apparently full of braindead "cute" comments all the time) and as far as I know from clips, he wasn't the pandering type at all and just a good gamer overall. It almost seems like the management/"selling" of his character was a large issue, disregarding his actual persona.

Speaking of his personality, I feel as though EN's way of dealing with these fantis (Mysta's voice tweet, livers mentioning boundaries on twitter + streams) is slowly starting to spread into the JP side more. Axia's rap regarding his break was extremely based (https://youtu.be/wkOciDA_WRA - no English translation as of now but I'm guessing the DeepL translation of the transcript won't be that bad) and I hope those aspects of VTubing culture start to integrate for the better of the livers.

On another unrelated note, I hope the professionalism of JP culture integrates more with the EN side, such as having a very grounded character (an extreme example being Debiru/Salome - she is goated in this) on the flip side. I think it would be great to see the community grow from each other's respective traits.

She's broken past all barriers, she's gone Super Sad Girl Saiyan, and Tiny Tim hasn't a candle to hold against her. At this rate she'll be bleeding from the eyes by Christmas. This fixing will be my greatest work yet, we'll need a full reconstruction.

The cultural significance is lost on me as I’m not Indonesian but it seems like a pretty good interpretation of the song. I listened to the original and the new version of it earlier today.

I’m no technical wizard but the mixing seems pretty well done. The weaker singers are well integrated. The graphics in the video are alright. Nothing spectacular but it gets the job done.

Edit - Additional thoughts: I would really love another Anya cover or original song as her voice is quite unique. Kaela’s verse with the slick production sounded pretty good for someone who only does off the cuff karaokes. She’s stated she has been taking lessons to improve which certainly paid off here in tandem with the mixing.
