In fairness to the evangelicals, there is at least Scripture to back-up the goodness of God; whatever one's negative emotions at a given moment. The most one might find of "genuine good" with transitioning are all the articles and supposed studies trying to justify its usefulness. I would think the one group is infinitely preferable to the other. It reminds me so much of American evangelicals. There is a big taboo in evangelical culture against expressing any prolonged negative emotions like disappointment or despair or hopelessness, no matter how bad your situation is. Whenever you see an evangelical post about some negative event or emotion, they'll inevitably follow it up with a paragraph or two saying "but God is so good!" "I know God is working through me towards greater blessings!" "I still feel so blessed and appreciate our abundance!" They can sense that the other members of their religion will side-eye them if they stray too far away from the idea of God inevitably making everything better for believers.
Same thing here. They are allowed to have some temporary negativity towards your own transition experiences, but they have seen enough detrans people being scolded for "giving ammunition to transphobes" that you know they are not allowed to stay on that road for too long. Not if they want to keep their friends and community.
So forget all that silly negativity, and go back to declaring how great you feel! #soblessed #thankful #livelovelaugh

This is what I expect AGPs to start doing in the future if they keep getting their way and there is no pushback against them, by the way. They probably won't go as far as insisting that they are physically carrying a child like this loon, but AGPs who have somehow roped in a female partner are going to start keeping up a social media presence as if their partner's pregnancy is theirs, and demand that all the attention and support that traditionally goes to a pregnant woman goes to them instead. They'll want baby showers and constant attention and concern, they'll talk about how their estrogen is somehow giving them phantom pregnancy symptoms, and insist that they actually need more support than their pregnant partners, because they are suffering from these pregnancy symptoms and dysphoria. All while the female quietly does the actual work of gestating in the background.
Then after the baby is born, the actual mother will be in the background of all the photos of the AGP troon cradling his new baby and trying to breastfeed it with his moobs (only when he feels like it of course; it's the responsibility of others to make sure that the baby is actually getting fed and gaining weight) while everyone congratulates him for his brave journey and tells him what a great mother he is!
