A couple months ago, the other thread had about half a day of lulz after she (in the Keekihime persona) posted about some convention she would be attending and that one of the rules of getting a photo taken with her is that you had to use one of those beautifying apps.

I suspect she's not aging gracefully, in which case she should probably just retire the Keeki persona and embrace vtubing fully. Maybe she wants to keep Keeki around as an "escape pod" if things go south with Hololive, but at this point it'd probably be more successful of her to just spin up a new vtuber persona instead; her fans would find her new identity pretty quickly given her distinctive voice.

Tonight, Phase-Connect's airhead zoomer Ashelia Rinkou did a stream about Chris-chan. She knew next to nothing about him going into it, so it was pretty fun watching her discover the lore. If you're not completely anti-vtuber I'd suggest giving it a listen as it's pretty damn funny at times. You can find archives here and here.

She’s aged pretty roughly in the 7 years I’ve known of her. She’s desperately trying to cling onto this youthful image while her hair’s thinning out and her face looks tired. I wish she’d just let go and accept that she’s getting older and just stop trying to hide it.

I think she’d benefit from being able to do her own thing, but she’s never going to leave unless the company went tits up.

Is that why she whines that if you ever recognize her at a con and want a picture she has to verify your social media accounts and to make sure that you have to apply filters while taking pictures ?

I still don’t understand why she wanted to verify peoples social media accounts to get a picture. Sadly she has a large following of KFP simps that’ll encourage her to be the way she is.

It makes no sense to try to vet people because the only people who’d really go out of their way to see her are fans/followers who either live in Germany, are close enough to make the trip and want to see her or are simps who’d fly to see her because they like her. I don’t think any alogs are going to bother traveling to Germany to attend one of their big cons to fuck with a lolcow that’s produced weak milk for the last couple of years.

I like Kiara and keekihime myself, but she’s got problems (like we all do) and I’m not going to pretend she doesn’t. I feel like her fans inability to accept criticism of her paired with their mollycoddling her does her no favors.

not sure if you're being factious or just retarded but in defense of keeki, if this happened to me i would try to verify who my fans are as well. there's also the more recent incident with a stalker fan meeting up with her in a fast food place, just use the search tool in the main thread
