They're legally required to if they want protection under the DMCA.

They're not required to do it at all, but otherwise they'd be liable for any copyright infringement, which could put even Youtube out of business. They're also not required to do it automatically, but it would be practically impossible to do it otherwise.

It's not about caring or it affecting me personally. Wings could fall over day tomorrow and I wouldn't give a shit, It's about people setting a new precedent that to engage in the type of activate is gay and cringe. Same with people going after other content creators sponsors to fuck with the financially, I don't care in a personal sense that some faggot across the world no longer makes 6 figures a year.

Your question about "why do you care?" should really be thrown towards those faggots that are willing to break the law in order to fuck with some loser who cries over being fat and broke.

It's cheaper to create a system that auto suspends channels that receive too many reports, then it is to hire shit skins to look at child porn all day, just to find out if it violented the TOS or not

It's because the DMCA is written to massively favor corpos who want to protect their copyright, with no shits given for content hosts or smaller "creators" like our boy Richard here. The law requires that if someone sends a copyright takedown notice they have to take it down first and only put it back up if it's successfully contested. It doesn't matter how obviously bullshit the claim might be.

I don't know if it is what BPD Gunt Rider said about sucking up to daddy Null or what but I think you actually do care. No one here is able to gatekeep what the Discord people do and they clearly don't care if people say what they are don't is wrong or bad so accept what you can control and what you can't.

As for the second part, I find the Discord people cringe too. When Wings007 used an alt to drop an info dump on his Discord troll rivals I called him out and told him to fuck off. When the Telegram or other Discord people try to bring their fighting here I tell them to fuck off. My goal here is to laugh at a raging fat man. Nothing else matters to me. The Discord people and the people bitching about the Discord people are equally annoying to me. Hopefully soon we can actually talk about what happens on stream and not a constant meta conversation about the state of wings trolling.

Anyone else think that Richard has been acting suspiciously calm during this whole ordeal?
I feel like he is putting on an 'unbothered' charade because he thinks it'll subvert how the trolls are expecting him to react, but I think I'm starting to see him crack.

With any amount of popularity, even from people parodying cows, there comes a strange attachment which splinters off again and again from the core target; in this case, that is Wings. Cartels do it all the time. Gulag, Wings007, Xbottle01, Sean Ranklin and Lummox are the breakouts of the Wings Cartel and some are dismantled by the other more violent, sperg-laden ones.
