/r/volunteersforukraine singlehandedly got hundreds of Ukrainian soldiers killed because multiple people wanted to post selfies of their bases on Reddit for upvotes and got them shelled by Russians as a result. Not to mention the dozens of volunteers who have probably died in the Ukraine War because posting Chungus memes doesn't translate to real life combat experience.
