Off topic, I've been following some musicians in a country where parents push music the way we push sports here in the US. Nearly all the musicians are complete train wrecks when it comes to raising their children. We're talking polka and related folk genres. That friendly John Candy vignette in Home Alone is NOT the way these musicians are in Europe.

They're totally self obsessed, very elitist, having a degree from a music school is a big deal, many of them come from money (multiple generations of rich wine brats or auto industry royalty), often times alcoholic, humblebrag about how many instruments they can play. These instruments are NOT CHEAP, so it's a display of wealth. They spend much of their lives on the road. it's like a tax shelter or money laundering opportunity-- continually going on vacation and claiming it's a business expense because they played their $8,000 instrument for an audience of ten. And... if they're NOT playing music, they're bicycling all over the Czech Republic and Slovenia in their tight pants, taking selfies along the way, probably checking out the train stations.... then they're mountain climbing in tight pants with tight bodied tanned men and taking pictures of themselves with large mountaintop crucifixes. (Not sure what that's all about).

I'm sure the musician-wives and music widows are bitter and resentful that they're "trapped with the dirty diapers while he has fun and pursues his career!". I'm sure child abuse and neglect ensues. Easily more than half these men out themselves once their unfortunate and naive wives have children, and then abandon their kids--or they take the kids outright and live with their even wealthier politically connected boyfriends. Their fans cheer them on regardless of how crappy they are as human beings. These offspring, if musical, are often already gay in their early teens and have much older male musicians openly fawning them on Facebook like horny fangirls.. You see some 13 year old kid posting his music, his newly "out" middle aged dad cheering him on, and the same 20-40 gay musical "genius" dudes loving every single post. Honestly, I ask myself how much of this is outright inter-generational trafficking.

I'm waiting for these countries in quesiton to legalize troonism completely, because many of their kids WILL troon out. With the wealthy and numerous turbo activist gay men in politics on both sides of the political spectrum, and all the pharmaceutical companies there, it's bound to happen. Both queens and worker bees are diploid females so Royal Jelly doesn't change their sex. Haplodiploidy is quite common among insects (Hymenopterans, Thrips, and roughly one-third of beetles) but by no means universal.
