@Piplup When you see a recommendation you don't want to see anymore on Youtube, click the three dots next to the name. It will bring up a menu. At the bottom of the menu, you'll see two relevant options: "Not interested" and "Don't recommend channel".
If you've watched a video that you think will cause you to receive annoying recommendations, you can also go into your history and remove it.

FWIW, those options have had no effect on one of my accounts for months. I clicked it on a million channels, maybe I ran out of allowed blocked channels lmao? I would click not interested or don't rec channel and the same exact video would still be in my recommended for a week.
