All I wanted was a quick takeaway of today’s pre-stream, and now I have to watch it myself.


Edit in case anybody else was curious: Aside from a vague intro of a "concer-t-ed effort" to take his stream down and allusions of backup plans if he can't stream, where he gets to play the hypothetical victim, the pre-stream was just an extended schedule of the upcoming quarter of game releases. He "covered" the early Saints Row reviews and pre-emptively dropped it. Alternatives are a Gamepass game and Saints Row 2, another """retro""" game.

Lots of scat fetish as well. "Saints Row is the hot new game: hot like a fresh turd coming out of a donkey's ass!"

It's a combination of him remembering how bad he was at Bayo 1 and the fact that those games are t&a in your face throughout and he isn't allowed to look at other women because he's married.

It's especially weird since Platinum are adding that new Angel mode to censor the typical nudity of the series, he wouldn't even have to go full PuritanSydePhil at the end of every boss fight. Unfortunately I think DMC5 broke him when he realized that character action games don't reward you for mashing the same combo over and over again.

When Bayo 3 came back from the dead with a new trailer some months back, Phil was already saying he would not play it. His reason at the time was that Bayo 2 was ten years ago and nobody cares about the series.
But yeah, he's avoiding the sexy stuff.

Bayonetta 2 released in 2014, 3 comes out this year. Eight years between the two, “nobody cares”. MGS4 released 2008, 5 in 2015. Seven years between the two and he played TPP on release day.
