Oh no, they are autigender. But only if they identify as such. Actually being autistic has nothing to do with it, but only autistic people can grasp the mere concept of it. Feeling grief/loss from a hysterectomy isn't gender dysphoria! It's the grief of knowing that no matter what there is absolutely no possibility of having more children. Lots of women feel conflicted during menopause, but the nice thing about natural menopause is it takes place for several years. You reach menopause officially when you haven't had a period in 12 months. By the time you get to that point you've had time to get over the worst of the feels, some of which are caused by fluctuations in hormones.

With a hysterectomy, menopause is immediate and physically painful. Your body has some estrogen stored in your fat so it may take a few weeks to start having menopause symptoms, but it's still a sudden, permanent end to your child bearing years. Of course most women are going to be discombobulated after that. Not all women feel that way, I didn’t, but it's still a valid and reasonable feeling. It's the biggest change in a woman's life, aside from getting the damn thing in the first place - 40 years ago or so.

Regrets about not being able to have more children, even when those regrets are highly irrational, is not the same as feeling like you're not a real woman uwu.

I still find it bizarre that they won't give tubals to women who say they are childfree because they might regret it someday, or because their future husband might not approve, but they'll give full hysterectomies to women who say they aren't women. I know testosterone can cause atrophy and diseases, but a lot of these women are getting them as soon as they start T. A grown woman with the BRCA genes and a family history of cancer who wants her breasts removed has a hard time convincing insurance and doctors to do it, but 13-17 year old girls has one visit with a doctor and surgery is scheduled.

It's fucked up. So is the fact that more people don't see how fucked up it is and just call the people who say "this might not be the right thing to do" bigots, Nazis, fascists, terrorists.

The biological ignorance and self-centredness of fundamentalists. Things can't just be about, say, you have no sex hormones now and that's messing with your brain chemistry (estrogen is very much involved in mood and brain function), it must actually be about the spoopy metaphysical/theological concept (the holy spirit, the gender identity, your chakras, whatever.)
