Mostly because it's a detractor meme and he hates anything we do even when it's harmless, but some small percentage of it is the sour relationship between him and his father.

Phil has had the 20th season of Simpsons smell around him for a while now. He sucks and his initial draw of being retarded at videogames is long gone so I understand people wanting to spice things up. The most fun in a while was when we got that picture of Khet where she looked like the gungan king from the prequel Star Wars movies.

Speaking of Khet and regarding Bayonetta 3 I think it's pretty obvious that she is the reason he can't play it. Do you think she's passive-aggressive about it, like if they're watching tv and there's an ad with a pretty lady and he doesn't shield his eyes enough she gets really distant and moves away from him on the couch and only responds with one word answers? Khet gives me the impression of a person who is quiet around people she doesn't know but once she's familiar with you she's very talkative. In relationships the more submissive partner tends to mirror the dominant one and Phil has definitely adopted her mannerisms with his bizarre valley girl inflections becoming so overdone he's starting to come across as a catty old queer. Then there's that weird episode where he seemed terrified of speaking too loudly in his own house and had to close his door in case Khet heard him doing his jahb.
Obviously I'm only speculating but there's a very weird dynamic going on in that house.
