I took it that he probably meant it in some distorted version of the ancient Greek sense of the word and likely wants people to start a paying him/only 'teaching' those he deems 'worthy', but this brings up an interesting possibility.
I for one lean towards this being less of a ruse cruise and more of just a scam at this point.

I highly regret writing a recent article. It has resulted in the loss of a close associate, and although I've informed them that this particular drama is now immaterial due to the breakdown of rapport between the two parties involved, I doubt they'll ever forgive me, though I suspect they were looking for reasons to abandon me from the offset.
As the North Korean slogan goes, "genuine life goes on." I can't concern myself with the flights of fancy promised by one group of associates when there are so many other potential alliances to be struck in a world where the problem of Aspergianism spans just their solipsistic concerns. I am deeply aggrieved and hurt that they would choose to deliberately blow out of proportion the gravitas of those comments, so as to justify an equally blown reaction, and if I can't resolve this in the way I've planned (I still hae their associate on my list) then it's something I have to content myself with having ruined.
P-Logic has far from won, if you're reading this. I have plenty of other prospective choices, before you think you've come close to achieving what it is you had intended to set out. Even if I move away from the bureaucratic excesses of Scotland, it'd be much easier to evade the authorities where they are less administrable, especially if I set vagabond. I'm willing to entertain the lodging with certain English acquaintances of mine if that's what it takes.
