Willing to bet hes not even familiar with vtubers until he wanted to apply for Niji. I still think that the retard bin existing at all is more a problem with the fanbase and not the people upsetting the fanbase. He says himself that he really just wants to show that he enjoys V-Tubers regardless of where they're from and wants to show engagement/support. I was just searching for something else when I stumbled upon this guy. He says he's using AI to make art of vtubers, though I don't know any of the details (what program, what are the inputs, etc). He's got some HoloEN and Vshojo ones up currently. Some of them are close and some of them are more... abstract. They have that unnerving uncanny quality that a lot of AI produced images have, but I kind of like them.

Their was some controversy during Uproar's debut about Rio being a female pretending to be male because of their voice, Oga iirc claimed that wasn't true and it was just how his voice was. To my knowledge their isn't anything about Rio being trans. Rio at worst is a woman playing a male so they can convincingly play a trap/femboy by having a soft feminine voice, like how Tamaki is a trap played by a female.

I can honestly believe Rio is an actual guy, I had to listen to his voice a few times and while it has some feminine undertones, it's different compared to someone like Yugo who is a woman playing a man. We've also had people who are capable of putting on female voices such as Kira and Mafumafu or people like Mashiro for example who has time and time again confirmed they are a guy despite the voice.

It's not far off to think Cover may have just found someone who happens to have a more androgynous type of voice or finding someone with insane vocal range.
