I tried explaining this to someone who’s only exposure is through Twitter horror stories and who knows I’m a user. Kiwi Farms is just a tool, and it’s users aren’t homogenous. Sure, I’ve seen some comments where I’ve thought “okay, that person probably just hates trans people”, but most of the time I just think people want to (rightfully) be able to criticize genderism and the actions of some transgender individuals freely, which is a rarity on the internet these days. I’ve seen some comments where I couldn’t tell if the joke about women was real or not, and the very next comment was from a Radical Feminist. I’ve seen comments from rightoids and leftoids. Admittedly I don’t know how much of us are trannies, but I do know from other communities that there are trannies who share similar beliefs, they’re just shunned by the mainstream troons. And I can’t tell how many of us are black because I mostly stick to tranny threads and we all say nigger anyways (which is how it should be- words don’t have power unless you grant them).
