its just going to collect dust like his workshop.
He barely reviews hardware anymore I don't know why would he need something liken that.

At the time of this post, most of the comments are complaining about/laughing at the price.
Still can't believe they're charging $90 for that screwdriver. Better off buying overprice Ifixit toolkit.

Thats not that bad when you consider the backpack costs $250USD, which is (i dont know US backpack pricing, im going off exchange rates from AUD) over 3x more expensive than bags from reputable brands that have much more storage space

Thats not that bad
You're obviously a fellow abbo... you tell me: would you rather spend 100 dollarydoos on a Chinesium shitter that has a Canadian faggot's face on the packet, or 25 dollarydoos on something like this from Bunnings?

In other news, container shipping delays may blow out the bag delivery timeframe. Apparently they put some slack in the estimates but it might not have been enough.

They're also having another mini PR disaster on Reddit, this time relating to bad quality hems on their (typically USD$20) t-shirts.

You bought merch from a Chinese woman; you get what you fucking deserve.

GN's Steve says gloves are off when it comes to Linus now. He even commented on the trust me bro t shirt, and how much of a bad taste that is. So others are starting to notice how Linus is on the way to to becoming a laughingstock. Wan show is going to be a shitshow this Friday i bet :story: I have to wonder how many hot takes he is going to throw out.

If they’re doing another pop up shop then I assume there are some looming cash flow issues…
They did just drop multi millions on a building and then spend probably what is 1m+ on equipment to go in it, i cant imagine LTT is raking in money by the truckload so they probably dont have a lot left after that

Oh boy, I can't wait for Linus's response.
Let's see if the LTToddlers are going to start a witch-hunt, or if the backlash against the whole warranty ordeal will make even bigger waves.

Look at linus flexing his power supply tester. He totally needed to spend like $80,000+ on it to beat GNs setup. I bet his info will still be ass compared to GN.
This was such a dumb idea, power supplies provided they aren't from a nameless Chinese company are all Fine. They also aren't interesting to review. They are black boxes that give power with a transformer, rectifier, filter and regulator circuits, some might have more to give higher wattage but really there is little to no difference. You can simply try and over or under volt the supply and test the output to see how good it is if you really want to.

In 13 years these are the only videos he's ever even done about specifically the topic of power supplies, and that's sort of fair enough given they aren't the best thing for pulling in zoomers. And zoomers is who Linus should be thinking about, for better or worse the channel is mostly them and they aren't gonna care about, slight power differences in power supplies.

Take the 80,000 and put it towards Antony getting on a Diet.

It's crazy how much I hate this little faggot. I really shouldn't, he's just an effeminate squeaky autistic gimp that makes children's youtube videos with highly irritating thumbnails, it shouldn't matter to me and yet somehow it does. The GN video was pretty funny, I think I'll read some of the comments on that this morning, hopefully they're scathing.

I did a search on YouTube with "ncix tech tips power supply before:2012" (to try and filter the soy) and there's mountains of PSU reviews. He doesn't do them in the modern era as he just considers that topic (alongside case reviews) to be "done".

USD$69.99 (HAHA FUNNY NUMBER) + (optimistically) USD$10 shipping + 10% GST. It'll be at least USD$88 which is presently AUD$125ish!

Someone is gonna get a deal on a lot of specialized hardware at the LMG bankruptcy auction.
I don't quite understand the point of this machine in his lab setting. Sure for manufacturing i understand that you might want to test if your product is gonna burn someones house down or for multiple different set ups and loads but with current european regulations (CE) i honestly feel safe cause i know how anal they are about just about anything getting that fucking stamp. As long as your not buying of bangood you should be fine.

Did Linus just jack up the price from 70 to 90 bucks? :story:

EDIT: NVM 90 Cad is 70 USD

Yeah this LTT Labs bs doesn't make much sense. Instead of them starting to make benchmarks with simple means and then, when this is successful to upgrade, especially then they'd know what equipment makes sense for what benchmarks, and what benchmarks are interesting for customers, they dump millions all at once to start "big".

In the end, this Lab stuff will probably not make good or popular LTT videos, so they in effect they'll probably fill some Excel sheets with their million $ equipmen.

The whole labs concept makes no since mostly because its already being done better by other established people. This labs stuff just reeks of linus being upset that smaller channels like GN upstage him when it comes to actual tech.

LTT is nothing but infomercials for whatever sponsor gave them the item for that video. Even the PSU tester was sponsored by seasonic and seasonic gave them some guides. Won't be a surprise when all their testing starts favoring seasonic.

I don't think i ever got any actual "tech tips" from Linus Tech Tips.

At this point the only reason I'm watching is for the channels eventual implosion.

For example, the Linux challenge series of videos was just a complete embarrassment. I'm no linuxfag, but many of the issues they had workarounds they weren't interested in even looking at.

A "tech tips" channel like linus' has no business in giving advice for anything knowing that they suck the cock of any sponsor who gives them money.

Also, does a youtube channel really need to have 2-3 buildings and a staff of 70 or so people? I have a feeling when the LTTlabs thing fails there will be massive layoffs.
