As much as I'd want to say 'I'll miss all of you etc.', the reality is that every single minute I spent here (and on social media for that matter) over the past six years was a complete and utter waste. Yeah, making fun of lolcows and exposing bad people seemed entertaining at one time, but at the end of the day I joined in because I needed an excuse to point the finger at someone who wasn't me and be able to say 'Yeah I have some problems, but at least I'm not like them!' It's funny that I say that because I don't have any actual real life problems; either they are miniscule and I blow them out of proportion, or I conjure up 'problems' in my head that I'm afraid will happen but never do.

Whether the site goes down for good or not, I think it's time for me to disconnect and find something more constructive to do with my time instead of endlessly doomscrolling/spending time on the internet reading about people I'll never ever interact with in real life. What's the point?

Much like Catholics invented a brand new word, with no objective definition, consubstantiation, to describe the relationship of the trinity without being accused of heresy.
