The worst thing isn't the loss of entertainment. If KF were to shutter today I have other shit to do (unlike troons who will collapse into goo if they can't tweet).

The worst part is that it would feel like the last of the old Internet finally being killed off. The high water mark of it, when information was most free. No algorithms pushing some content over others. Very limited janny-tranny behavior. Psuedo-anonymity to the point where regular posters are known- but only by their posting. Forums are a shell of what they used to be. Search engines are fatally fucked and have been for years. Ad sales and payment processing, which first helped the Internet grow, have metastasized out of control. There might be some small forum here and there dedicated to a specific or technical matter but even they have become increasingly infested or abandoned.

The second worst part is that no matter what is the cause of KF's death- even if it's some wingnut q-anon politician egged on by a false-flag swatting- every fucktard will take credit for it and strut around saying how they 'took down kiwifarms.' Cows that haven't had active threads in years will probably do it. Not to mention dickless wonders like Keffles. If Null decides to disappear in ten years because he wants to build a log cabin and pull a byu they'll still claim victory as if they had personally unplugged the servers.

Kiwi Farms is a wonderful place. I admire and appreciate Null's commitment to it. If he decided not to fuck with this anymore I wouldn't hold it against him, but I don't expect him to bail, and hope insane people will not give him reason to consider it.
