My theory as for Keffals motives is that this is all a smokescreen so that he can flee Canada under the guise of continuing some activism bullshit and thus avoid the wrath of the mounted glowniggers.

Whilst it's true Keffals created a smokescreen to get out of Canada, it's also true that another of the Farms' enemies could have used this smokescreen to their advantage, hence the MTG swatting.
