Not quite correct. The judge accepted the plea deal but ignored Nick's pleadings to avoid his client having to do jail time. The client did minimal jail time but should have done a lot more based on the number of occurrences and the total amount she stole.

I think this is the one of those rare moments where he thinks of something new he can say that won't get him in trouble with the woke cathedral, but is too blinded by that dopamine hit to realize how fucking stupid it really is.

It’s especially not clever when you realize that he got the analogy wrong to begin with. It would be more like someone is fat/trans. We then assert that being fat/trans is completely ok and we’ll give you the care to assist with you being fat/trans. We’ll give you fast food/puberty blockers and HRT. The transition isn’t going from fat to skinny. It’s going from fat, to even fatter. Going from fat to skinny is discouraging said behavior and the equivalent of sending someone with gender dysphoria to a psychologist to help them with their disorder and overcoming it. Affirming a mental disorder doesn’t help when the suicide rate is the same or even higher before and after transitioning. Just like affirming that someone is fat and then encouraging said behavior will just lead to a higher chance of death at an earlier age.
