One morning the CEO said "fuck those guys" and terminated their account, mostly caving to threats from actors who wanted to DDoS TDS offline and wanted Cloudflare out of the way. They claim it was due to TDS making secret claims that Cloudflare was on their side, but I call bullshit on that. That's easily solved with a C&D form letter. The CEO even expressed remorse in various press articles saying no one should have that kind of power, as if it absolved him of his decision.

Maybe I'm wrong. But it smacks similar of how DuckDuckGo's CEO claimed that censoring searches wasn't a bad idea...then it turns out they were doing so afterwards. Talking out of both sides of your mouth.
