Breast cancer patients who have nipple-sparing mastectomies can sometimes have nerve grafting done to help restore sensation. I don't see why FtMs couldn't have the same, especially considering their breast tissue is completely healthy, other than the fact that the surgeons don't actually care about their wellbeing.

They also don't have to have those huge scars that look like they were made with a blunt, ritual knife. There are multiple ways to prevent scars from looking like this. But they want that particular look, to show everyone that they were branded and to remember it at all times.
