It's almost like there are a finite number of doctors and paying service to your fantasies of becoming a Real Girl™ because you're bored and lonely takes away from the ability to help people with real issues. When I went overseas I got into an argument with some French fag about the fact that I had to pay a bill for a surgery I had where the asshole ended up shocked that I had gone from seeing my pcp to scheduling the surgery, to having it done in two weeks. He couldn't comprehend that I didn't have to wait half a year.

I think there is more... I remember someone saying it was weird that his mom took him to Thailand to get castrated and he took a picture of her holding him in the bed post-surgery, but I can't find it right now. Well it's almost like you can't chose to be black or brown but you do chose to be trans. I'm sure a lot of real minorities wish that their identity was just a costume they could chose to take off at any time. Imagine if you could just stop identifying as black or identify as white instead whenever it's convenient for you. I'm sure there are a lot of women in this world who have to go through forced marriages and genital mutilation who wish they could just identify as a man and then be treated as such. Real oppression is based on things you have no choice in.
