I personally think it's a long time coming for him to get a thread. On top of the King Nappy saga, he was friends with one of the direct victims, Hoodlum Scrafty/Callum and didn't defend him. He's a stuck up looney that will attack you for being incorrect and saying certain things to the point that he's threatened people with effectively blackmail because he's losing an argument, even going so far as to call someone they debated, who was definitely an adult, "pedo bait" because of their physique. Duncan is genuinely one of the worst turnarounds of content to produce because what was once a great Pokemon player and inventor of the Free For All, is now someone clinging to relevancy with an inferiority complex who is compulsively lying about their success.

Yeah he does blackmail the small timers who debate him and beat him. Didn't think it was relevant for the Rekieta stream but that is a Duncanism. I just put that on a side of my bingo card so it didn't have to come up

Duncan was a shitty person and has turned into a much worse person. Also I am going to nitpick here but Duncan was average at competitive pokemon. The reason he did Free For Alls was because he wasn't good at competitive pokemon. He created his own draft league and participated in others but did terribly. Claims to have left because it was toxic but losing most of your matches because you aren't that good certainly makes you want to leave

Ok so in pokemon you can play something called singles which is both players bring 6 pokemon and battle 1v1 with switching. Then there is doubles which is bring 6 pokemon and battle 2v2. Then, when the new generation of pokemon games were released in late 2013, the games allowed you to have a 4 man battle where everyone brought 3 pokemon, sent 1 out, and you battle 2v2. But you are allowed to attack your own partner in these battles. So a free for all battle is just 4 people bringing 3 pokemon and battle in that format where the last man standing wins. However, you don't actually care about who wins and just try to make the battle as funny as possible (think commander format in MTG). Its entertaining because of the banter and jokes with each other

Much obliged. That's legitimately a good idea for content, but it probably requires good rapport with those you're battling so I bet his content took a dive when those he collaborated with figured out he was an absolute dipshit.
