What are you playing right now?

Hmmm, interesting. I guess it's just waiting to be translated then?
I hate to be a bearer of bad news but Noa, the creator of the game, stopped development a few years back. The best we get is whatever the last English version there is. There is a mod called Elona + and it adds in more content. It may also have a translation. As far as story goes, I found it. Noa was making another game but its been put on hold after a co-developer died.

Switch to Elona+ when you can. its basically the game with two other continents, quite a bit more features, and something like twenty updates ahead.
I've heard a little about Elona+ and always thought it was just a extension mod or something, I'll definitely have to check it out, thanks for the info.

I've been grinding in Dragon Ball: Xenoverse and praying to my personal Jesus, RNGesus. Spent an hour collecting dragon balls so I could wish for a level. Summoned Shenron, discovered the option was missing from the list of wishes. Googled that bullshit and found out you're supposed to be able to wish for levels multiple times but the option usually vanishes mysteriously after using it one time. Would like to do parallel quests with @Sanic but their servers are ass.
As someone who bought the game at launch, it used to be way worse. RNG loot drops have been improved (it would've taken you more than an hour to farm for Dragon Balls) as well as the servers. On launch day because both single and multi lobby require being connected to their servers playing the game was fucking impossible.

I've been playing my new PS4.. With the two games that I have..

Kinda need something to play on it.

Been playing more Dark Souls 2 last night. The further I go through in Scholar of the First Sin, the more I realize differences from the original. One example is that I can summon Creighton to fight against the skeltin lords. Another is that Roenna's invasion occurs in the top area that was once used as an ambush point for some hollowed rogues. Finally, the Lost Bastille has an area where the Pursuer appears and Earthen Peak has more of the desert sorceress spread around. Only thing agitating me is being one sotted by desert sorceress (they use their "kiss") and getting cheap shots from claw wielding manikins in the area with an elevator that leads to the Mirrah shield.

Oh yeah, I've heard all about the initial problems. Wow. RNG can still be shit. The only reason I got the dragon balls so fast was because I spammed PQ 15 and I can literally do it start to finish in 30 seconds (including fighting the time patroller), so I had a drop chance about every 1.5 minutes including going to the desk, character select and loading. I actually did reboot the entire game after about the 10th attempt because I wasn't getting so much as a single time patroller, let alone a dragon ball. When I rebooted it reset the RNG and it did pretty well after that. It took about an hour and a half to get them all and I consider that reasonably lucky.

I still see nightmare stories about not getting a certain drop after hours or even days of grinding but I've never been quite that unfortunate myself (with the exception of never getting Candy Beam).

From what I've heard the servers and a lot of the bugs have only been marginally improved. For example, sometimes the servers are down for days and you can't do anything online at all. I've been experiencing what has been described as a glitch where the 'I wish to grow' option has vanished from the list of wishes, despite the fact it was supposedly patched. I'm hoping it just vanished because the game won't let you use that wish twice in a row (I used it to go from 86 to 87 and wanted to use it to get to 88), but I can't find any answers online. Some people say the wish is reusable for them, some say it's not for them, and I haven't seen anyone say anything about whether you can use it twice in a row or not.

It's a shame, because I really enjoy the game.

A little bit of everything at the moment. I'm 3/4 of the way through Dragon Quest 5 DS, got FE Fates Conquest and have been playing it, and I play Final Fantasy Explorers when my friends are around.

Even with the questionable translation Fates is fun gameplay wise. Makes me wanna drag out the GBA and play FE and Sacred Stones honestly.

Explorers is rather fun too. It seems to take a lot of cues from 11 and 14 which is right up my alley, even having a Blue Mage job that's very fun to play.

My special edition copy of FE: Fates finally showed up so I gave that a go last night and put BOF3 on the backburner. Going with the Conquest route first. Camilla is mai waifu

Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc. I'm not normally one for visual novels (they seem to be too much of that uguuu~ kawaii waifu crap going by trailers and reviews and if I want to read a book, I'll actually read something), but this one's got an interesting story with some nice twists.

SUPERHOT, which has one of the most ballbustingly unfair final (I assume) level difficulty spikes I've seen in any game in recent memory. No joke 1/3 of my playtime is that final mission and I still can't beat it despite more or less breezing through everything before it with only a hangup or two.

I'm guessing it's
when you've failed to jack into the Core for the third time?

Played more Dark Soul 2: Scholar of the First Sin. Raged and died like DSP in Black Gulch until I remembered that I joined the Covenant of Champions. Still find the worm things in the tar puddles to still be cheap annoying enemies. Also died to Maldron many times until I destroyed a Nadalia idol, killed the enemies one by one and killed Maldron.

I am currently cycling between four games at moment. there are Persona 4, Fire Emblem Shadow Dragon, Kingdom Hearts Chain of Memories, and Smash 4. yup three different Rpgs at the same time is smart move. Mouths ago i finished Persona 3 had a fun time, then decided to give 4 another for the filth time, but not right away as SMT got length to them and i had other games i wanted to play. so couple weeks i give it another go i enjoyed but couldn't find the energy to play it do to so personal nonsense. i am going to put back into hug stack of games i call my backlog for now. as for shadow dragon i just wanted to played a challenging fire emblem after hearing about crap they add to fates to make it easier. its been kicking my ass on hard and i am only at chapter 7, so i am satisfied. and i am playing CoM on a urge to play I got after watching a let's play of one of its remakes. i am enjoying so far. now for me to actually finish them.

Starting Stardew Valley today! Since I'm a sucker for Harvest Moon + pixels it's a perfect match so fair.

It's only 14.99 USD too. Just one dude made it!
