The GoFundMe was originally to fund his move to a secret location because he was afraid of the public. Now he spends the money on eqpt to walk around in public broadcasting his location to the world.

Wasn't the original GoFundMe goal for launching a lolsuit against Ontario police & kiwifarms? Now that police are allegedly reading this thread could this be a reason Lucas fled the country, Not just for a European vacation but to evade investigation of trafficking drugs to minors and financial fraud?

Yeah, I think it is too, hopefully during this 'beta' phase they figure that out and dial it down. Five minutes max I'd say, but realistically you need like a minute to figure out you typo'd or autocorrect went drunk. Anything longer and you're just going to have dishonest people 1984'ing shit constantly so they never look wrong.

No, it really was originally pitched so he could afford to move to an undisclosed location. Even the nebulous "legal reasons" came after he started bumping up the goal.
