I can definitely agree with where you are coming from. Personally I think the Supreme Court decision will be for the long term best but it will take 15-20 years for states to find the middle ground for their state. If it wasn't for Roe/Wade, we would have already found that equilibrium and it wouldn't be an issue anymore except for the religious people.
For the censorship issue though, here is a hypothetical:
If I went to DC and was looking to get something passed, here is how I would do it.
I would go to the left and extol how harmful this website is to marginalized folks and how other websites similar to it are just as bad. The free market has shown that it doesn't have the ability to deal with this type of problem and the only way to prevent these awful nazi's from destroying peoples lives is to pass laws that enforce a code of ethics on service providers. They can then go back to there town halls and create ads that show they forced Big Tech to be more moral and were able to save Troon lives.
Then I walk over to the other side and tell them that the whole issue is one of Law and Order and the fact that this site has been allowed to stay online is proof that the left has no desire to prosecute actual crimes and that if you pass bill X, you can go to your next town hall and create ads talking about how you are for law and order and were instrumental in taking down a website that helped cancel some good right wing people and were actively against Trump and the America First movement.
Your wouldn't get all of the politicians but I bet you would get enough from both sides to hit 60.
