Maybe I am out of the loop but in Australia there are pretty strict wheelchair accommodation laws. More than likely it is that creature's fault for refusing or failing to call ahead of time. They are legally required to accommodate you if you call 48 hours or more in advance. They are allowed to move your ticket around a little to get you into a larger aircraft, but they cannot outright deny you a flight. There have been instances of fuck ups, but they are few and far between.

The ANZAC memorial is usually guarded 24/7. There are some very cheap hotels around the CBD for these troons to have a dilation station. There is a nearby university (UTS) that's extremely leftist, those goons might take a day off from their critical race theory classes to show up and screech as well.

There was no reason for them to announce this gay little event publicly unless they are either planning to gayop it or want someone to gayop it so they can garner some sympathy.

Australia has been traditionally very anti-democratic. We built our cities to deny mass protests, that's why a "town square" doesn't exist in many big cities until the rather recently. (Exclude Adelaide).

Doesn't look a permit, but if it's anything like my country, it's (as the paper says) notice of intention to the police so they are around protecting the people who are protesting. Spontaneous protests can happen, but when you intend to make one that is quite large, you first need to ask the police to come so they can send a team to make sure neither the protesters are violent nor there is violence against them (even if the protest is against the police). I've heard policemen saying that they don't mind because they respect people's rights to gather and protest for whatever they want, but it's the violence what they don't like.
