I'm having trouble finding it since any search for "dark Brandon" memes brings up undiluted visual cancer, but I know I have seen one floating around of Biden giving a speech on the platform before a bunch of stormtroopers with the dark Brandon caption... so such an edit already existed before that speech and they still thought it was a good idea to tip their hands that they're becoming an honest to god authoritarian regime while their opponents are still better armed than most militaries.

I'm gonna make a stark contrast here. Please bear with my old boomer ass for a moment. In 1976, the Bicentennial of America, I joined the Navy. I made it out of boot camp in time to be back home, in Philly, for the 4th of July celebration. There was never a prouder moment in my life than standing in full Navy uniform, close enough to touch the Liberty Bell in front of Independence Hall on the 200th anniversary of this Republic (NOT DEMOCRACY) called America. People, complete strangers, hugged me, shook my hand, thanked me for being there. What they saw in me and my uniform represented the best of America and that our values were real and that we would fight to the death to defend the God-given rights our Founding Fathers labored over to provide the best Constitution in the world. 200 fucking years. It was emotional, it was heartfelt by all and Philly truly was the City of Brotherly Love that day as that exact spot is the birthplace of the freedoms that we all enjoy (and are being threatened) today.

Joe Biden, take your sorry ass right back to the basement. How dare you question patriots that made this country what it is today and label US as Facists?

When I was young and stupid and first registered to vote, politics was nothing like it is today. Sure, there were some differences between the Dems and the Reps, but it was mostly you can vote for one fool or the other and pretty much go about your life without it being an albatross hung around your neck. Nobody gave a shit who you voted for. 4 years would go by and if you didn't like the way shit was going, you'd vote to change it.

I guess what I'm getting at is politics weren't an identity then, they weren't all consuming as they are today. There would be some rahh-rahh shit near the election cycle, then it would go back burner for another 4 years and life went on.

As a kid, I remember we always had a picture of the President on the wall in our home. Eisenhower being the first I remember, followed by Kennedy. This was not uncommon; my friend's homes had the same. Not everybody, but more than not. My mom loved Kennedy. Dad never really seemed to give a shit, as long as mom was happy.

I don't remember politics ever even being discussed in our house. Not at family Holiday gatherings, just wasn't a thing. Even with the war raging in Vietnam and the turbulent election cycle and riots in Chicago in '68. It was sort of waved off by my parents as "Damned hippies!"

It's such a far cry from where we are today and honestly? It's saddening to see the division, the scorn, the outright hatred being displayed by Americans based on politics. It's become a very hateful game and it's only getting worse.

Wish I had some magic old boomer advice on how to make things better. Sadly, I don't and just like all of you, I'm merely a spectator in this shit show with but one vote that I WILL use to try to get America on the track that will make things better for us all. And that certainly isn't for the "democracy" that was on full display last night.

Having guns doesn’t help when those who have them aren’t willing to fight. Civil War 2 isn’t going to be some easy magic win for team red. Here is why.

1. The Feds will infiltrate and dismantle any group that even thinks about targeting even the little fish in the pond much less the big fish.
2. The military for years has been getting more and more pozzed with idpol crap. A big chunk now probably love the thought about streamrolling some CHUDS. Even neutral members will suck it up and take their orders even if it means dropping a few bombs on their old home town.
3. Antifa and co. While autistic and feral are just that. Dangerous animals. Anyone in urban or suburbs would be threatened and their entire family to support the cause against the NAHTZEES or else. Then being back by the military and police is a nightmare.
4. The police. If you think Officer Bob is going to take your side because some niggers called him a pig a few years back think again. 95% of them will take the orders to bash your skull in no matter how many back the blue stickers you have.
5. Minorities. 75-80% of them would love to unleash their inner rage against those damn red hat wearing Gringos/Crackas that the MSM has been instilling in them for years. Don’t think for a moment that Juan who is “BASED AND TRAD CUZ CATHOLIC” down the street won’t stick you if SHTFO. Any minority conservatives who stick to their word will quickly be killed by their own people and or tossed into the death camps.
6. The government. Multiple politicians even Brandon have hinted they aren’t afraid to bomb us. Can’t feed yourself when the forest and fields are in ashes.

1. Fed are idiots and easy to spot to anyone who isn't already massively inebriated on a regular basis, as one of the defendants in the Whitmer entrapment hoax was. If you want a good laugh, look up the FBI's posts on 8chan /pol/, where they literally could not have made it more obvious that they were feds
2. The military are complaining constantly now that they don't have enough people to recruit because of their idpol crap, and because people don't want to die for their neoliberal bullshit. Secondly, even if they were stupid enough to bomb their own country and kill most of the population, who's going to be left to rebuild all that infrastructure? Mexicans?
