Okay, so I don’t know if this has been asked before but serious question here. Lets assume that CF is actually being negatively impacted by this #dropkiwifarmsisupport thecurrentthing business. Lucas Roberts has proven to be a liar and will run a grift to benefit him, could he be held liable in a civil court for interfering with Cloudflare at all?

Like, protest a company sure, but not only has it long exceeded a protest at this point and is just harassment. Could Lucas be sued and would Cloudflare do it? I guess maybe 50 whole people would be pissy if CF sued, but 99.99% of the internet doesn’t seem to give a shit.

I doubt Lucas could be sued over this.
Eliot on the other hand... If he does have connections to this other competing DDoS protection company and would stand to benefit from CF losing customers, then he might be found guilty of tortious interference. He is, after all, the brains of this whole operation - Lucas is just the poster boy of the movement.

The whole Keffals thing reminds me a bit of back when a certain fat, balding British pedophile obsessed with KF tried to take down the website using blatantly illegal and scummy tactics. Now we have a fat, balding Canadian tranny pedophile trying to do the same, time flies but some things just don't change.

It wouldn't be too concerned.
It's a very new user account (after the Keffals swatting incident and Keffal's campaign against KiwiFarms started), s o they may be confused that Keffal's pro-swatting stance, etc somehow applies here (which it doesn't)
or
perhaps the account is an agent provocateur designed for Keffals et al to screenshot as some form of "gotcha" (even if not by design, I would expect Keffals et al to do so if/when they become aware of the user)

But ultimately, any action on the intent of the new user is a moderation decision and we, as users
1) are advised not to backseat moderate
2) are advised in the ToS that we are each responsible for our own content (an individual user's behavior wouldn't be indicative of the forum as a whole or the individual users therein)
3) are advised that the site does not condone illegal behavior.

How would it work anyway, even if you work for a company? Nobody here is stupid enough to post under their RL name or anything that ties them to their actual identity, so they couldn't use the old bringing the company into disrepute argument to fire people.
