A ProTip to all of the visitors who were either never bullied in elementary school or just didn't learn anything from it:

Oh no, some Nazi on the dastardly Kiwi Farms mentioned you! Maybe they even said something mean about you (which is violence), or misgendered or deadnamed you (also violence)! What should you do?

Consider these two options:

1) Ignore it. Go about your day. Go lock yourself in a room and scream and/or cry about it if you have to, but don't acknowledge the violence that has happened against you in any manner that anyone else can see or hear, least of which the Kiwis themselves.

2) Create a long Twitter thread about it, showing just how bothered and offended you are. Call those Kiwis every slur for non-revolutionary Maoists that you can think of, start a fundraising campaign, do interviews with the supplicant press, and just generally draw attention to yourself - and give the Kiwis exactly the sort of entertainment that you want.

Do you know which option you should pick? Number 2 is going to give you an instantaneous dopamine rush, and might even make you a good bit of money - but if your goal, sincerely, is to get those dastardly Kiwis to stop talking about you, it is the wrong thing to do.

The correct option to get the Farms not to notice you is number 1. Stop giving us attention. Don't acknowledge our existence; not even an allusion or a subtweet. Just go about your day, get your business done, and sleep well at night knowing that the Kiwis will soon forget you ever existed, if they haven't already, and no more mean words will be coming your way. That is how you deal with bullies. When you show them the buttons they can push to get a reaction out of you, they will push them until the day you die for their own amusement. If you do not show them those buttons, they will go find someone else who's more interesting to harass.

Congratulations. You are now an expert at dealing with Kiwi Farms members and and other alt-right transphobe ultra-MAGA bigots, both on the Internet and in real life. Please take this information to heart.

I posted on SA a long time ago and can confirm that "Troon" came from the combination of "trans" + "goon" and it was a label they gave themselves playing off the gay goons calling themselves "faggoons" (which I'm surprised never caught on because that shit was funny). If I remember correctly, this was around 2010.

"Troon" only started to become a pejorative when FYAD (an insular shitposting board that was Lowtax's preferred place for some time) started mocking them in a thread called "Trooooons!" or something similar. FYAD eventually lost interest, probably partly because a couple of the prominent posters there were also trannies.

Troon really blew-up as an insult thanks to Something Sensitive, which was basically a Kiwi Farms solely for Something Awful. The troon thread was one of the most active on SS due to trannies being a coddled group on SA even back then, and SS's doxing of pervert and pedophile SA mods drove a ton of traffic to the site, which was how I think "troon" escaped into the wild.

That is your autistic Internet history lesson for the day,

Trannies absolutely need censorship in order to perpetuate themselves from an ideological standpoint. They've already come to this conclusion, and everyone should be aware of it too. They know for a fact that if there is any source of media or following, etc, that speaks out against them, then their way of life is, in their mind, is threatened. This is because normal people understand the true nature of trannies, how repulsive and how deranged it all sounds from a logical and societal standpoint. They rely on the media or other bigger orgs to try and squash the opposition, because in order for trannies to be universally accepted, it relies on everyone just shutting up and taking it. So you have places like twitter, reddit, facebook, etc. that won't hesitate to silence you in an instant in order to stop the narrative from shifting.

Kiwifarms is one of those places that does speak out against them, that won't tolerate their behavior. Therefore we must be silenced. We are a threat to their continued ideological existence.

Thing is, the people orchestrating the campaign know that this site doesn’t actually have a rape and kill list and that we are not trying to actively kill random trans people. They just also know that journalists won’t fact check or contradict them, because transphobia.

But that Reddit poster is 15 and is just a random idiot on the internet. He trusts Keffals. He’s likely too scared to visit the site and check. There’s a good chance that he truly believes that being mentioned on KF puts him in physical danger.

One might ask whether telling vulnerable teenagers that there’s a site out there of people who are going to try to rape and murder them because they’re different might lead to more widespread despair and suicidality than a few threads about too-online losers on a forum, but we all know Keffals doesn’t actually care about that.

The irony is that this unfortunate underage furry is far more in danger after making that Reddit post. How many brave transwomen do you think have DMed him already offering him a place to stay if he feels unsafe? Just send me a few photos first, I can check the site and make sure you haven’t been doxed. Where do you live? I bet your parents don’t understand how scared you are.
