Nijisanji have announced that merch shipping prices for US customers will be significantly reduced as they have invested in a US-based warehouse.

@EenGevolg

I don't trust playboard there is fuckery afoot there. Pippa and Tenma don't show up when you check the Vtuber listing from the front page (both have the vtuber and ENvtuber tags), Pippa is listed under comedy and Tenma is listed under gaming,

A lot of other small company and indie vtubers don't show up properly either.

Edit: Roza Coatl formerly of Haven -X is having her rebirth stream for 4VLive.

Half the comment section is trying to spin this as "Idol culture bad" which is hilarious to me. It's not idol culture, it's mentally handicapped, parasocial subhumans who think the anime girl on screen owes them her virginity because they're retarded enough to throw cash at her. Are people like Tenno and Henri only a problem because Pippa is too deep into idol culture? I'm sure someone is retarded enough to say yes, but that's beside the point.
So then the real question we should be asking is what is it about idol culture that attracts mentally handicapped, parasocial subhumans who think the anime girl on screen owes them her virginity? 🤔

It happens with chuubas who have nothing at all to do with Idol culture, twitch thots, and even male streamers. There is no real link, it's just a convenient thing to blame because it comes from a different culture, and is also seen as traditional or restrictive.

Finally one of them is trying to get USA shipping down. may have to get purple dragon merch later on. Praying cover gets off their ass and follow suit.

Looks like Vesper is applying what he learned as an indie and making content for different platforms and cutting and editing streams down for just normal YouTube videos. Wonder how this will help with numbers and just reach that being apart of a large corpo would normally get you.

Vesper is acting like a real youtuber instead of just following the vtuber meta. I don't think he could go all the way and start unlisting vods and only releasing highly edited videos, but a halfway measure could make him grow a lot.

Kiara displays another aspect of her growing Ame love at the end of her Overwatch stream. Apparently she'd been asking around to see if other people were watching the Game of Thrones prequel and Ame was the first one she found.

I think the commonly accepted idea is that having only one "type" of video on a channel will improve the chances of Youtube sharing the channel's videos (and conversely, that having multiple types is detrimental to sharing). That's why you see a lot of big podcast channels with official clip channels where they upload highlights rather than just uploading them onto the main channel. Cover probably can't wrap their minds around a talent running two channels though, so he's likely stuck working with what he's got.

Edit:
I love the title of Vesper's Bae collab.

I wonder how much overlap there is between vtuber fans and competitive smash fans.
