Its really bizarre. Whether its to try to compensate for being egregiously unfunny or to shock its really just cringe. He's even said he wants the soundtrack of Synecdoche New York played at his funeral.

Ironically enough his neurotic tendency to increase the amount of unnecessary filler content to bloat and hide the realization of his pointless life and degeneracy to his consciousness by consistently dabbling in logical fallacies is disturbingly close to how much Caden tries to more and more bloat the script of his play to hide his incompetency to attach something meaningful in his own life as well.

They would treat it like when Ralph asked him what he thought about the movie and Adam had to lie through his teeth not to hurt his feelings too hard, because, for context, the movie, Lover, was quite bad. Stuckman's the only reviewer I can imagine making a half-decent movie along with Roger Ebert (Ebert, didn't make a movie but wrote a pretty good one). These two are the exception. It's been said a million times but most reviewers or critics are washed-up or wanna-be directors or writers who either didn't make it, weren't talented enough or a mix of the two. Judging by Adam's music and the style of videos he makes, I doubt anything will come from him that wouldn't be perfect for this board.

I think Adam's already thrown away his chance at a big break. The BIGGEST hurdle in art these days is that people no longer take unsolicited submissions for copyright/liability reasons. According to Adam, he HAD a producer soliciting his works, and put them on the back burner for his never ending Lion King review.

I wanna know who's going to play the part so I know how to right the character, but no one sane is going to endorse a project without a script.

Of course no one will get on signing whatever movie star is in your dream cast if you don't even have a script yet! And Adam should know casting comes AFTER the script. Actors plays characters, not the other way around. If the actor wants to take the character in his own direction or has suggestions, that's the decision of the actor and director, not the writer! Adam of all people should know characters written for actors are terrible, since he always complains, "Will Smith isn't a character actor, he just plays himself this movie" "Bruce Willis isn't playing a character, he's just being himself. I always saw Bruce Willis, not George Dalton or whatever the character's name is".
