"Mad at the Internet" - a/k/a My Psychotherapy Sessions

  • 🐕 I am attempting to get the site runnning as fast as possible. If you are experiencing slow page load times, please report it.
@Null

The monkee scene in nope is the scariest shit ever and yes when the people get eaten at the rodeo thing...god damn. lol

>Chumbawamba outro

I always knew you secretly loved Bongs Josh.
I thought it was because he was a deeply committed left-wing anarchist?
EDIT: Uploaded re-encoded audio conversion (with first 1:40 of Cherry MX ASMR cut) to Catbox.moe for the somewhat (ffmpeg default is still like 128 kbps) bandwidth challenged and impatient

@Null I apologize if this has already been requested, but will you please consider posting your streams to your telegram account? If the audio and video files were there, it would be most accessible to me.

Thanks.

I did not had the chance to ask Josh in a super berry so I will put the question here to see if he would reply and for other to hone in as well. What could be considered the "Kiwi Farms community"? As in, can any random weirdo on this site claim that he is part of the KF community if he isn't a complete sperg? Are the pedofile anime pfp's part of the "community" despite the animosity directed at these "people"? When a large group of people from the forum do something in benefit of the greater good (exposing a pedophile) would that be considered a goodwill by the community?
This place is one of the least-hiveminded forums I've ever seen - it probably helps that there's just so damn many people that use this place. Perhaps the greatest commonality is placing great importance on free speech. That this is one of the few places left on the Internet where edgy bois can drop the hard R means there are a disproportionate number of edgy bois dropping hard Rs, and I'm sure that stuff is hard for outsiders to ignore, but they seem to be outnumbered by people here for earnest conversation. Thus, saying there is a "Kiwi Farms community" strikes me as similar to saying there's an "American community." Sure, I guess, for broad definitions of "community," but that's not a monoculture by any means.

Here's this week's Mad at the Internet archived on YouTube. I'd recommend trying the VK or Odysee VoDs though, both work really well - this version is just VK ripped with yt-dlp & first 1m32s clipped out (it was just silence and clicking). Odysee phone app also worked well for me if people are listening at work or whatever.

Piece of shit Russian player doesn't even play for me.

Where is the Odysee VOD? I checked the stream link and the mati channel, and all I can find is a "not live yet" page.

@Null I don't wanna sound needy, but I needy my Saturday morning entertainment, and since the streams have stopped being on YouTube the archives have all been shit for me, watching live is not an option for me. If Odysee will be the main platform now, that's cool and all, but hopefully the archiving situation can be improved.

Null you should ask your co-final boss of the Terfs for advice on book writing.

Josh, you weren't the only one who couldn't believe Biden's speech wasn't photoshopped.

I saw Nope and like it quite a bit as well. Didn't really get why the thing transformed in the end, but solid 8/10.

Anyone making original shit in Hollywood is doing better than 95% of the other garbage producers just rehashing the same old things from 20 years ago. I 100% blame reddit consoomers who only want to watch things they can buy funko pops of and remember watching in middle school instead of giving new ips a chance.

If you need another movie to watch, The Northman came out this year and was pretty good if you are into viking movies.

Josh has been tedposting lately but I've never seen him mention anything from "The System's Neatest Trick". It's quite a short read and insightful. Fun fact, the first line in the essay is a quote from Ellul's famous work The Technological Society, which he has said himself was pretty inspiring in his thinking about technology. Sounds like an interesting book, I'll have to read it sometime. Anyways, good show today.
