  • 🔧 At about Midnight EST I am going to completely fuck up the site trying to fix something.

I also noticed something along the lines. I also noticed the chat. I used element picker mode on ublock origin to create a filter for the chat and I think that fixed the slowness. Feel free to try and tell if it works on your end or I'm just a crazy.

Is anyone else seeing that trying to use the arrow keys to scroll seems to cause the page to just jump to the top? It's like the web page is capturing the arrow key presses and trying to do something else with them but failing miserably.
 
Apologies if this is a known issue, but following this link appears to load the error page with a different user's session and/or user info because I see Stephen Hawking's pfp, the "your profile" link goes to his profile and I get the wrong number of notifications.


Also, I get this error on the current page:
The active user has changed. Reload the page for the latest version.

When attempting a password reset, the email link goes to the .net domain only, meaning it just gets you the Cloudflare block page. I'm only able to post this because I remembered I had a password keeper app

I am not sure if this has already been brought up, but for some reason, Kiwi Farms cannot be loaded at the kiwifarms.ru address periodically, but then it suddenly works again a few minutes later.

Are there issues that are still being worked out in this domain?
 
Apparently it has been determined that I am the robot when attempting to access kiwifarms.ru, as shown

I get this from DDoS-Guard and it doesn't go anywhere or do anything, I'm on Brave, tried it without shields and with to no effect. It just isn't doing anything that I can detect, next step is to use a different browser

E: both chrome and Edge did the same thing, it just hangs with no movement or attempt to do anything that I can detect :|

Second E: clearing cache and content from the .ru domain seemed to fix the issue? lol russia

It's just doing the same thing Cloudflare sometimes did. When the connection resets, the site stops working on pages you're on so you can't post (or rate) until you reopen the page and go through the "checking browser" screen. It's just doing that somewhat more often than CF used to. You can almost always just open a new tab and paste the url into the new tab to trigger that.

For some reason just clicking reload doesn't work sometimes.

Not sure if this is just DDoS-Guard's normal behavior or if it's getting DDoSed more than usual right now.

I know Josh is kinda busy, but is there any chance lolcow.email will be up in the near future? I wanted to try signing up for Poast but they require an email address. EDIT: To be clear, it's "down" in the sense that it shows the Cloudflare chickenshit page when you try to access it.

Alternatively, can anyone suggest another trustworthy email service for periodic shitposting account creation purposes? I know of ProtonMail but it feels like overkill for this sort of thing,.

Looks like it was my Malwarebytes that was blocking the site. Didn't give me a notification when I made the original post, but popped up this time when I just tried to visit for "Riskware". Whitelisted the URL in the app and now we're good to go.

Opening the address in a new tab does not seem to make much of a difference in terms of the chances of the browser being able to load the page, however I am doing it on Android, unless there is a difference between mobile and desktop in terms of the new domain's responsiveness.

We could also be really getting pummeled by DDoS attacks arising from pure troon-tard rage incarnate even on our new domain.
