I remember being told in school over 20 years ago not to post anything online you don't want to see on the front page of the newspaper. Public figure or private, the current way it all works is that if you post it publicly, it becomes available for commentary and reposting for fair use. Doxing is legal because of data brokers, and dumbfucks oversharing online for clout. If you don't like data brokers putting your location and personal data online, take it down BEFORE engaging in shitty "activism" (and where's your fucking activism pushing back against data brokers in the first place? - almost like you know it's an unwinnable fight due to corporate lobbying and a tool you don't want to baleet because you like to use data brokers to hurt your enemies...)

It's always better to preemptively protect yourself from a potential crime or embarassment rather than leave yourself wide open to one, unless you have a personality disorder and fetishize being a victim. This family had money by the time they came to America and that's the problem here. Kermit the Fong was raised as a "Little Emperor" a son who'll be just as successful as his parents who had his every whim catered too growing up because he's soo special. They sent him out in America with an over-inflated sense of self importance and life came at him fast and stomping his feet to get what he wanted didn't work out in the real world.
