That's a very interesting point. I hope to God you are right. The cloudflare post seems to be a temporary comment about the issue, not the final word.
They took a fairly solid stance before about the KF issue (without outright naming KF) and I really don't think they're going to roll over on that issue so quickly.
I think the bomb threat glowposting gave something Elliot Fong Jones could take to his tranny contacts still in the tech industry to get KF pulled immediately.
But Matthew Prince will have something more thoughtful to say when Tuesday rolls around, whether that's about reinstating KF or not, he'll need to clarify CloudFlare's relationship with these issues in the future.
He's written about these issues in depth, he won't just take the site down and count that as the final judgment.
Even just from a business perspective, he's signalling that fedposting is a weapon that can be used against his network of customers.
I'm guessing he'll need to come up with a policy by which a website is doing "enough" to properly report fedposters to the authorities quickly enough or some shit. Maybe some kind of panel in CloudFlare's thing when they get a serious fedpost complaint, where the webmaster checks a box saying "yes I deleted the post, yes I reported it to the feds".
Idk, he needs to come up with *something* like that, because otherwise this is an existential threat to his business model.
When a service that's supposed to just provide DDOS protection tells you it wants to "ambitiously build a better internet", that's a huge red flag. You keep websites from being taken down by illegal attacks. That's it. Leave this "building up the internet" shit to actual sites. So this is from their jobs page, which they were nice enough to put at the bottom of their remodel of kiwifarms blog. Pretty sure they have 0 values or principles based on their statement here. They sure were transparent with jersh.

Always happy to see you.Even just from a business perspective, he's signalling that fedposting is a weapon that can be used against his network of customers.
It was most likely this:What is the supposed "danger" to people that CloudFlare was referring to? I noticed they didn't show any evidence, examples, or substantiation of any kind in their bullshit post.
It's probably due to less people using the site.Same. I'm loving the speed atm.
No. This is the same kind of milquetoast handwringing that Prince did when TDS was kicked off. Come Tuesday nothing will have changed, and considering the actions taken, I sincerely doubt that Moon will have any further communication with them outside of a lawsuit for violating contract. The cloudflare post seems to be a temporary comment about the issue, not the final word.

Its been the MO of these people for over a decade now. Actual crimes and immorality is fine when you do it for "the cause." But for someone like Null, who has done no wrong and has kept his nose clean, will have everything taken from him for one reason. All these "people" who want KF to be taken down whether it be troons, progressives, journalists, or whoever have a common problem with KF: KF is a place that the cathedral can't control. Things on KF are documented and archived, which is a huge issue for these people when someone can look them up and find out their scum, breaking whatever facade they're going for. One top of that, they can't crybully the site into taking down things that make them look bad. They're only other option is to perform criminal acts. And when your ideology is largely applauded by society, no legal action will be carried out against them. They are seen as the perpetual underdogs even when all is for them.Amazing what people will do to ignore logic and actual crimes to censor wrongthink
Ah, so a keffals catboy faked a death threat that got taken down almost immediately, but not before he took a screenshot of it himself and sent it to lucas. Sounds about right. Prince is such a stupid bitch. It was most likely this:
Basically some rando account, that was created back in 2020 and had one post, reactivated and started posting things in this and related threads. Then it made the post in the screenshot above and keffles tweeted it. The post was deleted pretty soon after.
Cloudflare likely saw this and decided it was all the excuse that they needed to pull the trigger.
Only takes one cunt to ruin the entire pie.It was most likely this:
