Observations:
Lucas has a low IQ, yet high enough to imagine himself having a high IQ. SO, technically on the low end range of midwits.
Cross sex hormones impact on how the axons wire, likely leading to what is essentially a chemical lobotomy.
This may explain his obsessive compulsive behaviour.
His behaviour also falls under the dark triad traits, which is not uncommon for paedophiles.
Paedophiles are notoriously thin skinned and are excessive and habitual liars. Unfortunately for Lucas,
his poor memory means that he is unable to keep tract of his own untruths. We see this in the case where he claims
he was awoken with a gun in his face, then later that he saw a policeman with a gun in the passage. Of course, this was a soft-entry
search warrant, they just knocked on the door.
A course of action may simply be to log all his self contradictions, they would be informative in creating a pattern.
