In fact, they often support Western imperialism in places like Russia and the Middle East

At best, most of these so-called Marxists are anarchists and social democrats. At worst, they are straight up neoliberal and DNC mouthpieces. Given that Keffals supports Ukraine heavily and only really ever talks about trans rights, they are likely the latter.

If you want to see true Marxism, look at the government and economic policies of China, Vietnam, Laos, Cuba, and the DPRK.
