If transgenderism is to be normalized then transphobic content must be punished. This is no different from how racist and sexist content was banned and people fired in the late 60s and 70s when anti-racism and anti-sexism were normalized.

The issue is that members of the trans community are committing heinous acts like grooming easily impressionable and depressed youths into taking life-altering drugs that will permanently scar them.
I won't deny that there are individuals that suffer from gender dysphoria and need that kind of surgery just to feel human, but the vast majority is numerous sex pests and the ilk that conditions them to their twisted cross-dressing fetish. These "people" are dehumanizing people with serious medical conditions that just want to be left alone.
Society should not be re-fit to accept pedophiles, groomers and manipulators. If the trans community want to be recognized as part of society as a whole, they should start by ostracizing the people in their community that are actively causing this negative sentiment, to prove people wrong through their Good deeds and signs of actual humanity.
