Firstly, I'll admit, I do find it more than incidentally odd how a 14 year old kid, in this day and age, manages to save up $5000. That said, how he got that money is
none of their fucking business and not the point of the post. It isn't wholly improbable; if he cuts, idk, 5 lawns at $20 a pop, and does that 50 times a year (i.e. every Saturday), $5000 is possible. He just has to live in a weird area where people are affluent enough to happily toss money away for menial work in light of the coming crises but are too poor to hire a Mexican.
However, there is something that makes me far more livid than these retards' cause. Regardless of the circumstances, there are three things on the internet which are an immediate berserk button for me:
- Anything that hurts/endangers animals
- People that force socio-political issues on their children/young students (i.e. troon them out, bind them in chains to demonstrate slavery)
- People that attack children, whether verbally, textually or physically
And in this case, it's the latter two, particularly the third. Leave the kid alone, you bastards. He's literally
14 and wants to share something that is important to him. You've all whiteknighted for your fair share of people that tote guns, take drugs and rape/kill people at that age based purely on their skin colour, and instead, this kid is looking to do something productive. He saved up, spent his money on a nice old runner, and will probably still be driving it long after you faggots commit suicide when you find out how much of your life you have wasted being golems for the jet-setting, tree-hugging elite, who otherwise don't care about you nor the environment.

There's a couple other threads like it too, because since it's Current Year Clown World + 7, the American population aren't allowed to be one half of the political spectrum. Them's the rules now.
And of course, we inevitably come to this argument. The Bleeding Heart, with a healthy side dose of Chinese-owned African lithium miners spreading their usual lies that it's better for the Earth to drive something that had to be freshly built out of resources ripped out of the Earth than something that has already been around for half a century and has probably driven half a million miles. It's okay mongoosefist, we know Mr. Chang will whip you if you don't sell 1000 exploding hoverboards in the next week.
No, FlushingLog, this is a boy who has clearly taken initiative early on in life and wants to see the world before faggots like you cause it to be locked down because of your incessant screeching. The thing that I really do not get about these people is, as I have mentioned earlier in the thread, they cannot FATHOM how driving a car could ever be an answer to their problems. There has to be something wrong with the public transport infrastructure! Quick, pour millions of dollars into building bike lanes that never get used and end up growing moss, buying EV buses that spontaneously combust in 100 degree heat, and pedestrianising town centres until 150 year old family businesses end up shutting shop because no-one can be bothered to go to them anymore, when there are malls and BIG CITIES that thoroughly outmatch them and have direct transport access.
They will never understand how someone might not like, nay, might not
want a public transport-based solution. Their tiny brains literally cannot comprehend the idea. The people driving cars are perhaps actual people with minds of their own who might not like being around other people. They might not like stopping 20 times before reaching their destination. They might not like running several blocks through rain and snow and blistering heat and blustery wind to get to their destination because it's off the transit route. And over everything else, they might not like the risk of being jabbed in the ass by a used needle or accosted by a group of thugs who want an easy victim.

exactly when and how he was brought up. He was most likely born between 1990 and 1995, told his life would never amount to shit due to global warming/cooling/change from past generations fucking it up before he'd get a chance to spread his wings, and when that ultimately failed to transpire in the 2010s, it broke his mind like it did many of these other fucks. I was one of the few to break out of the programming early due to already being an unashamed car guy, and couldn't imagine how my life would have turned out if I didn't. Rather than realise and accept they were grifted at a young age by Al Gore's environmental fear cult and move on once and for all, they tuple-down until they lose themselves in a matrix of fearmongering insanity. They spend the rest of their lives getting angrier, vile, and growing outwards without growing mentally because this wasn't in their "plan". Their plan was to live normally until their teenage years then become some form of environmental planetary saviour in their adulthood so the following generations would honour their sacrifices for eternity in return for a livable planet. And now, whether they like to admit it or not, their sick power fantasy will never happen.
Their childhood was sullied by lying middle-aged politicians who promised them the world if they rode bicycles and stopped eating meat, and that has become their entire life, following them into adulthood. They are angry, bitter, jaded individuals who will never see their Earth destruction fetish come to fruition, their precious, infallible "Science"
proven wrong time and time again. When their classmates have children and drive around in a car they saved up for, living in a house they saved up for, they will be cursed to ride around a metropolitan area sullenly in some weird coffin-shaped contraption with no children and 10 scruffy-looking animals on a malnourished vegan diet, owning virtually nothing but some tattered old Funkos and a sweat-stained Nintendo Switch that hasn't worked in 10 years once their fifteenth landlord has had enough of their shit. While their peers have the time of their lives, they will become sadder and angrier than they ever were in their youth.
Aren't the next generation allowed to have aspirations and goals other than "waaaa, the past generations fucked the world up, we'll be underwater/fried to a crisp/frozen to death by
2000 2009 2014 2020 2030 so you should spend your whole life being a miserable contrarian apologising for your whiteness and listening to everything Queen Greta says"
