The info about Lucas / Keffals extremely inappropriate behavior with minor children is not difficult to find. His methods were pretty extreme, but his work is undeniably brilliant. When I first read Kaczynski, it's like all these absurdities and things that bothered me about life in general all suddenly clicked into place. The power process, oversocialization, etc explained much. His description of Leftism was particularly prescient, and basically predicted what's going on now back in the 90s.

God I hate twitter. To imagine how stupid all of this is, consider someone going in something like a Lincoln Douglas debate competition. The debater advocating for a resolution presents his arguments and the rebuttal is "I always wanted to ratio XYZ..." and that far too many people find that sort of "thinking" to be persuasive, interesting, and engaging.
