You know what, I'm gonna say it. Writing this here is not easy, and I know I'll likely be disregarded as 'bait', but I don't care anymore-- I need to get it out. Negativity permeates this entire site, and I cannot take it anymore. Besides the obvious reprehensible activity such as doxxing, etc., everybody here is so miserable that we literally make fun of and laugh at the misfortune of others just to feel better about our own sad selves. And up until recently I also fell into this cycle. Wholeheartedly, genuinely, the recent discourse around Keffals has finally caused me to reevaluate my morals and reflect on why I'm here.
Perhaps this whole thing is emblematic of the issues in modern society. Everyone is so quick to judge and mock others that we never look inside of ourselves, the inverted pit of our souls continuously rotting whilst we waste our time here. Disagreeing with a consensus on this site is a sin that gets you relentlessly dogpiled and doxxed - which is what keeps everyone in line. Obviously this is what the admins wants, to keep people on their side and have nobody question it. For people to form a hivemind and go after 'lolcows' without any hesitation - most of whom's only crime is being 'cringe' online. And to have people almost brainwashed and indoctrinated into hating specific groups. Groups, mind you, that are minorities and targeted more often than not by hateful bigots.
So, Keffals, I concede. I hope that other kiwis consider what I've said here and also reflect on themselves.
