I am certain that the chink's plan all along was to slow-cook the whole thing until the public started to legitimately despise Cloudflare for servicing KF. He has a financial interest in a competing company, Fastly.
However, his plan backfired when CF actually took action against us. I really, truly and honestly doubt he was counting on that - he was hoping they would support us so they would get shat on and eventually lose customers.
His next target was Fiberhub, another competitor. But they seem stubborn and stuck to their ideals.

After realizing he is losing on all these fronts, he got tilted and went after his cause's poster boy Lucas for ruining his masterplan.

Maybe I am wearing too much tinfoil right now, but I honestly think this was Liz Fong-Dong's plan all along.

I agree with this, but the tilting point was Elliot realizing Lucas is addicted and won't stick to the plan, so now he's trying to cut ties.

Especially with how quickly the rhetoric changed and how very direct these comments are.

Lucas doesn't see himself as being an issue because that's what addicts do, they refuse to admit to their issues. Lucas not being able to be reasonable is causing all of this to begin to fall apart. He keeps falling for bait because his addict mind can't see them. He isn't looking for bait, he will post anything that gets him the high for attention.

They pay addicts with drug to do the craziest porn so they can get their hit no matter how embarrassing it may be if they're fiending enough. Apply that same logic to everything Lucas has done lately.
