Perhaps in the future any cow that appear to have an obsession with their thread (or KF prior to even having a thread e.g. LFJ) have their content put in a private board (or better, have anything but the OP and maybe highlighted posts be hidden from public view)? It would force cows obsessed with their threads to use socks to access it, and it would avoid any retarded fedposts in popular threads from being immediately available to the clearnet.

I know good SEO has previously been one of the site's goals but surely it's a detriment to the site's survivability. Clearly the powers that be don't give a fuck, and agendaposters have already made up a popular narrative for the people who won't come and read anything written here anyway.

I'm just spitballing but asking people not to be stupid is probably not going to work.

I admire Josh's persistence and not many people would uproot themselves and go through legal turmoils to keep a drama forum going.

Can you bar a thread to people with a certain threshold of activity? Like a percentage of posts or that and a certain age? When we get through this, it might be funny if people who get that edgy about their threads had them at least occasionally disappear into the void, but be aware that people could still be talking about them in private for some span of time. Maybe it would drive them to become active users who might gain an appreciation for this place and community and perhaps even, rethink what led them to cowdom in the first place.

Yeah, I'm more of a fan of the usual lolcow threads than the gay internet wars-type threads. Less funny and more just angry. It's only temporary. Null is just a man, and he's pretty much all on his own. He needs to take care of whatever IRL emergency is going on, while still managing the many needs of the site, and obviously he can't risk having retards fedposting and pozloading my neghole while he's too busy to do anything about it.

At this point it wouldn't surprise me if the site was being targeted by somebody with a lot more influence than the twitter troons. Of particular interest is the intelligence community and the military with their history of homo (and tranny) cults. The Kay Griggs interviews are unbelievably long (~7:30:00), but they are worth watching. She was the wife of a high ranking navy colonel (if I remember right). I can't say, but the amount of pressure suddenly being leveraged behind the scenes is enough to give me a big thunk. It's especially likely given the mass media's pushing of the troon shit and the lax moderation against grooming minors on Discord and the like. I haven't given a shit about any of these people before now, every time someone mentioned keffals it just registered as a weirdo sex pest twitter addict attention whore and not much beyond that, it's obvious that ALL of this is for attention, the people involved have all gained followers, verification, MSM attention and (especially) money because of it, so yes, ignoring them is probably the way to go. Since it makes it harder for them to play victim in front of the world which is the only thing they have.

I usually come to here to laugh and shitpost for a bit during my workday and marvel at the stupidity of people, for me it's hard to understand how outsiders see this site as some sort of dangerous place (although I understand it's only because these people lie constantly to get their way), when it's not that different from what 100s of other forums were 15 years ago. It's sad that these people are such egomaniacs that they are setting precedent that will hurt the Internet for years to come and no one seems to care but the people who post here and a handful of others.

Either way, I doubt they would back down if their threads went away right now and they got their "victory", but at least ignoring them denies them the dopamine hits they desperately crave.

The only way I see to prevent fedposting is to have post approval in place for low post count users which I know is not really the nature of the forums. But considering how there are inactive accounts on standby just to post shit at a moment's notice. I'm not seeing much option since there will be bawbags watching the hottest threads all the time and will jump in at a moment's notice.

Also deleting accounts with low post counts that have been inactive within 6 months to a year may also work to some extent, espically for users who came in from 2020+
