She get viral a while back by singing a meme song associated with a racist gif of Tom Cat sitting on a spinning record with a fu manchu beard. The song remixed some generic english pop sing with bejing opera. She had a nice singing voice but graduated recently. I think she is joining a new corpo with the same model somehow.

In my humblest of opinion, I think Discord is still the best option that we have for  now
But, to avoid the gays shits that usually happene to a Discord servers, I believe there must be some very strict rules that everyone must agree to follow, such as a slow mode to reduce spamming a la Discord, and strict no porn shit. You know, rules that is pretty much the same as this New Zealan website

Honestly, why bother with poa.st or discord or anything else. Let's just all agree to search "Nolan Crush" exactly a year from now and use him as a Lodestar to find our new home


We'll just have to gatekeep a nice balance between "everyone can join" and "super sekrit club." But like others have said, I don't think that's an immediate priority compared to getting a working alternative set up. Something similar to our current way of hiding stuff from guests, but only viewable to OG's/vetted users would probably be a pretty good idea though.

Much like Kiwifarms itself, I think it'd be hard to replicate a place similar to this thread. This just being a single thread on a much bigger forum is probably one of its biggest strengths. It's too small to have its own specific jannies that have strong opinions on specific vtubers or the community (we already have members here who throw tantrums over live commenting, talking too much about a subject, or how 'x' is a nothing burger and we shouldn't talk about it; imagine one of them being a mod) and is typically too fast for any in-fighting to brew.

Plus, like thhrang said, KF's stigma keeps away annoying redditors and twitterfags that'd have constant meltdowns over someone using the word 'tranny' or calling something retarded, who could then go whining to whatever host is used for the off-shoot.

I think the main loss from moving away from here is the KF stigma as Tor says. Its probably what helps filter most of the Twittards that would use info here to then try to Twitter cancel or harass the vtubers we talk about (like the massive faggot trying to cancel Pippa and Lumi). That said the idea of having a dedicated forum seems attractive as long as it stays as one big megathread VS a bunch of fragmented threads (which is why /vt/ is unattractive to most of us).

I would consider adding a Wiki-like feature where Vtubers that have been mentioned have a profile section of sorts for easier searchability . Signed on the autistic Twitter thing. Let me know if anything happens. I guess things will if this site dies.
