This took an interesting turn. Megan Fox is against freedom of speech if it comes to murder/killing of minors (speaking specifically of Bianca Devins). She wants some things, like murder scene photos of minors, suppressed.

To his credit, Nick is still staunchly in favor of free speech.

I can see where Megan is coming from. Murdered kids is pretty ugly. Thing is, free speech is often not pretty.

At the least. it's a far more compelling and intelligent discussion on free speech vs limited speech than the Nick vs Dunked-on McClown debate.

Can anyone give me a lowdown on what happened to Rekieta and why he's banned from Youtube? Was it really that Duncan faggot that got him kicked?

It was the Keffals stream. Keffals started a mass flagging campaign on it. Nick took that stream down because he knew it'd be flagged, but once someone's already flagged a video, YouTube will stil review it and can still apply the strike even if the creator removes or privates the video.

It's his second strike within a rolling 90-day window (the first was the Australian knife fight, because apparently "too much blood" is an unwritten rule) which means a 14-day ban from streaming or posting to his channel. While his YouTube channel is restricted he's streaming exclusively on Rumble and Odysee and he announces all of his streams on his Locals channel.

Do people really have that hard of time with Tor? It's proper shit but if you grew up with 56k that naturally ran at a fraction of that you can put up with the speed Tor has and it's not like you need to do all that much to run it. Then again, maybe the only reason people are online is ease of access and they weren't on back then because god forbid you need to wait five seconds.

Most people don't have a reason to use Tor so they don't know how to and don't care to learn. That said there isn't really an excuse given how easy it is to use Tor on Brave.

Sure, and like them I used Tor roughly when it came out just because it was a weird new thing, and then shelved it until now when I wanted to shitpost. It's the same for the dot roux or dot top addresses, when you want to do something you just need to accept you have to fuck around with tech you're not familiar with and treat it as a learning experience. I've also just enjoyed Odysee more lately and the Fediverse isn't bad considering I never used Twitter.

.top has been intermittently working fine for me in Brave on desktop, so I dunno if I'm just configured to use IPv6 for some reason or what. Although it's pretty buggered at the moment, pages load but the scripts don't so it's all unusable.
